God is the gardener of life.
Each person he puts on earth radiates a special fragrant scent to Him and to those around them.
As the gardener He gets to choose which flowers to pick and take home to be with him.
Some times the flowers are in new bud, sometimes in their full beauty, and sometimes withered and old.

- This song is based on the book of Ezekiel in the Bible, chapter 37, where God asks Ezekiel to go to a valley filled with dry bones. He causes the bones to be connected and the flesh to go on them, and finally breathes the spirit into them.
- This is a word picture of what God can do for us as we listen to Him through his Holy Word.
- It also shows that a day will come when the dead in Christ shall rise to new life.
