AS & IF --- YOU CREATE YOUR OWN STANDARD -- LITTLE WORDS WITH BIG MEANINGS

What an awesome God we have!
He is not a ruler nor a dictator!
He is a gentle loving Father full of grace and wisdom!

This little word- AS -- in the Holy Bible is a great word for self-evaluations.

Matthew 6:12
And forgive us our debts (sins, transgressions, trespasses), AS we also have forgiven our debtors.

Luke 6:31
Do to others AS you would have them do to you.

Colossians 3:13
Bear with each other and forgive one another if any of you has a grievance against someone. Forgive AS the Lord forgave you.

Ephesians 4:32
Be kind to one another, tender-hearted, forgiving each other, just AS God in Christ also has forgiven you.

AS-- is a small but exceedingly powerful word--

IF is another small but powerful word at work in the Holy Scriptures when seeking God’s grace and mercy.
Matthew 6:14
For IF you forgive others for their transgressions, your heavenly Father will also forgive you.

1 John 1:8-10
8 IF we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us.
9 IF we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
10 IF we claim we have not sinned, we make him out to be a liar and his word is not in us.

THE MANUFACTURER'S HANDBOOK
TELLS US THAT:

Our Heavenly Father allows each of us to set our own standard of measure on how He will judge us in the various situations that come into our life--
(be they the storms of life or times of testing of our faith).

UNFORGIVENESS STOPS YOUR MIRACLES FROM HAPPENING!
MOUNTAIN MOVING FAITH BEGINS WITH FORGIVENESS!

Mark 11: 24 Have faith in God,” Jesus answered. 23 “Truly I tell you, if anyone says to this mountain, ‘Go, throw yourself into the sea,’ and does not doubt in their heart but believes that what they say will happen, it will be done for them. 24 Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask for in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

25 And WHEN YOU STAND PRAYING, IF YOU HOLD ANYTHING AGAINST ANYONE, FORGIVE THEM, SO THAT YOUR FATHER IN HEAVEN MAY FORGIVE YOU YOUR SINS.

Matthew 22:36-40

36 “Teacher, which is the greatest commandment in the Law?”

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’ 38 This is the first and greatest commandment. 39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor AS yourself.40 All the Law and the Prophets hang on these two commandments.”
