Dear Heavenly Father, as I read these harsh warnings in Matthew 18 of your Holy Word I am more aware than ever of how precious children are to you.
Please give all parents, grandparents, teachers and community leaders a new measure of love and concern for children.
Please give all parents, grandparents, teachers and community leaders a new measure of love and concern for children.
- Forgive our nation and people for injustices many children suffer be it mental, physical, social, or spiritual needs they may lack or evil harms they have endured through various measure of abuse.
- Forgive the atrocity of abortion and those who innocently have bought into it's philosophy. Help people to control their lusts and help us all to cherish the beautiful gift of your well established values for marriage and reproduction.
- We can no longer close our eyes to the street children, the marketing of sex slaves, child pornography like it's only taking place in some foreign land!
- Lord, please heal our American land and the bring repentance and forgiveness to any humans who are currently involved with any form of harm through evil to children.
- Please put your angels round about the little souls and minds which are so vulnerable to harm and fill them with discernment and wisdom to stand boldly against the growing forces of evil in our land.
- In our day and age we may not understand what a millstone is -- but definitely the image is clear that you will not let evil go unpunished when it comes to your caring love for children.
- In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen
The Greatest in the Kingdom of Heaven
Matthew 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
Matthew 18:1 At that time the disciples came to Jesus and asked, “Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven?”
2 He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. 3 And he said: “Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of heaven. 4 Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of heaven. 5 And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me.
Causing to Stumble
6 “If anyone causes one of these little ones—those who believe in me—to stumble, it would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. 7 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come! 8 If your hand or your foot causes you to stumble, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. 9 And if your eye causes you to stumble, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell.

Thank you for your post and your dedication to the word of God! Serving widows and orphans is very important to me. I appreciate your post. Best wishes!
Thank you Brook,
The first of the year I felt I had two assignments from the Lord.
One was to RED THE RED (the words of Jesus)
and Two was to daily uplift children in prayer.
God bless you for all you do on behalf of orphans and widows as the book of James says that is true religion!
