To hear other people's perspectives and needs develops understanding and compassion and takes us beyond self-- to a place mercy, forgiveness, and grace the very things we have received ourselves from your death upon the cross.

They like each of us are not perfect according to the standards of society--
Yet we know in our hearts you carefully picked just the right ones for each of us-- so we could be all you designed us to be for kingdom purposes.
We have all made mistakes in life,
Forgive us the many times when we disappoint them and forgive them for any time they made errors in rearing children you gave to them.

Help us to keep our first love for our mate -- just as you desire us to keep our first love and commitment to you-- so that when the church (your bride) is call in rapture we are spotless and free from sin.
Deliver us from the world's inappropriate ways of teaching sex education and perversions of your purpose for marriage and reproduction.
Restore commitments and lead and guide your people into spiritual and marital purity-- help the young desire chastity.

The 10 Commandments are in Exodus 20:1-17
Catholic and Protestant differ on teachings.
Notice that after the first commandment, numbering starts to change. For example in the Catholic listing the imperative against adultery is the sixth commandment; for Jews and most Protestants it is the seventh.

THE EXCELLENCE OF LOVE
