Thank you, Heavenly Father for creating us.
We pray for clean hearts and right spirits with honest desires to accomplish all that is put before us today.
Forgive all our erring ways and the many times we have set you aside and gone after worldly things.
Let there be no other Gods before you in our hearts ever.
Give us strength, faith, and guidance to be all you designed us to be for this present generation and be an example and role model that is pleasing to you.
In Jesus Name,
Amen

Heavenly Father,
Creator of all that is and all that is to be
May we humbly bow to seek thee.
You of spirit no man can see
Help us all your truths to know is our every plea.
Creator of all that is and all that is to be
May we humbly bow to seek thee.
You of spirit no man can see
Help us all your truths to know is our every plea.
Forgive all who have worshiped in error
with rabbits foots, talismans, voodoo, charms, and more
for we know your Holy Word says idolatry is as the sin of witchcraft.
Help us to cleanse our homes that we would not pass to our children our iniquities
to love for material things -- made of metals and woods that have replaced true worship for you,
and stolen our time -- which we have bowed under to for certainly no one's good.
Help us to be in awe of all the miracles you bring upon your obedient children.
The protections in times of trouble,
The healing of body and soul,
The guidance of which way to go,
Provision for our every need.
Help us not reach out to any other source but you alone nor be led by greed.
Bless us with strength your commandments to obey
When we work and when we play
No matter where our feet go today.

Commandment 2
Exodus 20: 4-6
You shall not make for yourself any idol, or any likeness of what is in heaven above or earth beneath or in the water under the earth,
You shall not worship or server them for I, the Lord your God, am a jealous God, visiting the iniquities of the fathers on the children, on the third and the fourth generations of those who hate Me, but showing loving-kindness to thousands to those who love Me, and keep My commandments.
Thank you, Lord Jesus, for rescuing us.
Let our deeds be a witness to your life saving power.
May the words of our mouths and the actions of our lives honor you.
Help us to speak of your love and mercies at the appropriate times-- never forcing our faith on another-- and cause the words fall on deaf ears.
Help us never to throw pearls to the swine who will trample your love and truths in the sewers of this world's ways.
Let anger be far from us and patience be ever present in our daily walk as we learn to bridle our tongues and grow in grace.
Amen

Commandment 3
Exodus 20: 7
You shall not take the name of the Lord your God in vain, for the Lord will not leave him unpunished who takes His name in vain.
Lord, you have called your people to rest in you-- that apart from you and your Word life is restless, empty and without meaning.
Help your children to establish patterns for attending community worship services to share in times of prayer ...with other believers.
To hear other people's perspectives and needs develops understanding and compassion and takes us beyond self-- to a place mercy, forgiveness, and grace the very things we have received ourselves from your death upon the cross.
Let your Holy Word guide us and develop our faith so we let go of all false labors and works-- and come into a place of trust in our God who has promised to supply all our needs according to his riches in Christ Jesus-- a loving Father who owns the cattle on a thousand hills who will care for us.
Amen

Commandment 4
Exodus 20: 8-11
Remember the Sabbath day to keep it holy. Six days you shall labor and do all your work, but the seventh day is a sabbath of the Lord your God; in it you shall not do any work, you or your son or your daughter, your male or your female servant or your cattle or your sojourner who stay with you. For in six days the Lord made the heavens and the earth, the sea and all that is in them, and rested on the seventh day; therefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day and made it holy.

Heavenly Father I thank you for parents.
They like each of us are not perfect according to the standards of society--
Yet we know in our hearts you carefully picked just the right ones for each of us-- so we could be all you designed us to be for kingdom purposes.
We have all made mistakes in life,
Forgive us the many times when we disappoint them and forgive them for any time they made errors in rearing children you gave to them.

Commandment 5
Exodus 20:12
Honor your father and mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
Honor your father and mother, that your days may be prolonged in the land which the Lord your God gives you.
Lord, we live in a world of harmful beings;
some things kill the body, some things kill the soul.
Help us Lord to use all of resources for good and never for evil.
May our emotions never spring into actions of unkindness -- may we bring humble prayers to you on behalf those who do bad so you can bring changes to their spirit new desires to their hearts.
We give you all the bad words we have ever spoken to others and ask that they end forever in the minds and souls of those we have harmed-- so they do not produce fruits of bitterness, hate, revenge self-inflicted harm or even murder.
Help us to seek to do good to the hungry, the thirsty, the naked and the poor whom you sent our way-- and never to despise them for their situations.
Deliver us all from the hands of evil.

Heavenly Father,
Thank you that you have made marriage as the perfect design for our sexual desires.
That all other forms of expression can cause affliction to our own bodies.
Forgive the lust of the eyes and wrong desires of the heart.
Help us to keep our first love for our mate -- just as you desire us to keep our first love and commitment to you-- so that when the church (your bride) is call in rapture we are spotless and free from sin.
Deliver us from the world's inappropriate ways of teaching sex education and perversions of your purpose for marriage and reproduction.
Restore commitments and lead and guide your people into spiritual and marital purity-- help the young desire chastity.

Amen

Exodus 20: 14
You shall not commit adultery
You shall not commit adultery
Lord,
Forgive all of our deceptions, unbalanced scales, false weights and measures because of our greed.
Help us to measure as you measure -- line upon line-- precept upon precept.
For when we steal any truth by word, deed or greed-- we steal bits and pieces of Christ who is all truth.
Help us see the needs of our neighbors and be givers rather than takers.
Forgive us when we seek advantage over others-- help us to build up and encourage others always.
Even if the workplace is not always fair and just to the laborer -- still help us to be fair in doing our best honorably.
For we know you are the God who supplies all our needs as we turn to you with trusting hearts and minds.

Amen

Commandment 8
Exodus 20: 15
You shall not steal
Seal our lips, Lord, so that words of scandal, accusation, bitterness, and gossip find no place there.
Bridle our tongues, Dear Lord, to speak only the truths that lead to love, forgiveness, and compassion.
Help us note all the good others do ...and only speak of their good deeds behind their backs.
Let us never judge another, but cover deeds we do not understand in prayer and believe always for the best in our neighbors by never repeating rumors.
As we would that others speak kindness about us-- so help us to do so always about those in our own life's circle.
In Jesus name,
Amen

Commandment 9
Exodus 20: 16
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
You shall not bear false witness against your neighbor.
Heavenly Father,
What a wonderful protective warning are your words "not to covet".
We remember Cain and Abel-- where covetness and jealousy ended in death.
May we never suffer the death of any relationships because we desired what was not rightfully ours.
Even thoughts and desires are sinful if they lust after that which belongs to another.
If we at times chase after what others have -- be it material things, talents, or spiritual giftings--
please forgive us and help us to be thankful for all we have and all that we ourselves are individually created to be.
May we never manipulate or use courts and justice systems to take advantage of another to obtain what is theirs --
help us to be protectors of that which belongs to others rather their desiring to take from them in any way.
In Jesus name,
Amen

1 Corinthians 13: 13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is love.
Matthew 22:36-40

37 Jesus replied: “‘Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.’
38 This is the first and greatest commandment.
39 And the second is like it: ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.'
40 ALL THE LAW AND THE PROPHETS HANG ON THESE TWO COMMANDMENTS."
The 10 Commandments are in Exodus 20:1-17

THE EXCELLENCE OF LOVE
13 If I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, but do not have love, I have become a noisy gong or a clanging cymbal. 2 If I have the gift of prophecy, and know all mysteries and all knowledge; and if I have all faith, so as to remove mountains, but do not have love, I am nothing. 3 And if I give all my possessions to feed the poor, and if I surrender my body [a]to be burned, but do not have love, it profits me nothing.
4 Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is not arrogant, 5 does not act unbecomingly; it does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, 6 does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices with the truth; 7 [b]bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things.
8 Love never fails; but if there are gifts of [c]prophecy, they will be done away; if there are tongues, they will cease; if there is knowledge, it will be done away. 9 For we know in part and we prophesy in part; 10 but when the perfect comes, the partial will be done away. 11 When I was a child, I used to speak like a child, think like a child, reason like a child; when I [d]became a man, I did away with childish things. 12 For now we see in a mirror [e]dimly, but then face to face; now I know in part, but then I will know fully just as I also have been fully known.
13 But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; BUT THE GREATEST OF THESE IS LOVE.
