Our Nation being blinded spiritually is not a democrat/republican issue -- it's a nation bowing before a golden calf issue.
America has departed from the 10 Commandments.

Psalm 106
35 But they mingled with the [idolatrous] nations
And learned their ways,
36 And served their idols,
Which became a [dreadful] snare to them.
37 THEY EVEN SACRIFICED THEIR SONS AND DAUGHTERS TO DEMONS
38 AND SHED INNOCENT BLOOD, (AKA: ABORTION - my word added)
EVEN THE BLOOD OF THEIR SONS AND THEIR DAUGHTERS,
Whom they sacrificed to the idols of Canaan;
AND THE LAND WAS POLLUTED WITH THEIR BLOOD.
39 In this way they became unclean in their practices;
They played the prostitute in their own deeds [by giving their worship, which belongs to God alone, to other “gods”].

And they were subdued under the [powerful] hand of their enemies.
43 Many times He rescued them;
But THEY WERE REBELLIOUS IN THEIR COUNSEL,
AND SANK DOWN IN THEIR WICKEDNESS.

I humbly thank you Heavenly Father,
for the many blessings you have given to America.
How can we use your mercies for your Service in our present conditions? Please remove contempt from our hearts for your Word and your Commandments. Break down selfish and ignorance barriers that separate those who call themselves Christian.

Convince the impenitent of the miseries of sin and comfort the broken hearted with the assurance of your love.
Help us to live not just by word but by deed -- walking the talk we truly believe in our hearts.
Help us always to have grace and mercy and never push away the unbeliever-- but somehow to draw them into your family by encircling them with unconditional love.
In Jesus Name I pray-- Amen.
