Some may say this is a type of Rapture, wherein the saints have to be removed before the Tribulation can begin.

27 Then Abraham spoke up again: "Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the LORD, though I am nothing but dust and ashes,
28 what if the number of the RIGHTEOUS is five less than fifty? Will you destroy the whole city because of five people?"
"If I find forty-five there," he said, "I will not destroy it."
29 Once again he spoke to him, "What if only forty are found there?"
He said, "For the sake of forty, I will not do it."
30 Then he said, "May the LORD not be angry, but let me speak. What if only thirty can be found there?"
He answered, "I will not do it if I find thirty there."
31 Abraham said, "Now that I have been so bold as to speak to the LORD, what if only twenty can be found there?"
He said, "For the sake of twenty, I will not destroy it."
32 Then he said, "May the LORD not be angry, but let me speak just once more. What if only ten can be found there?"
He answered, "For the sake of ten, I will not destroy it."
33 When the LORD had finished speaking with Abraham, he left, and Abraham returned home.
END TIMES EVENTS - Jesus warns, "Remember Lots Wife." What does Jesus want us to remember about Lot's Wife? (Genesis 19:26) Lot's Wife disobeyed God's Command: "Do Not Look Back" (Genesis 19:17).
Lot's Wife did NOT believe the Words of the Lord, and it cost her, her Life— as the LORD turned Lot's Wife into a PILLAR OF SALT! (Genesis 19:26)
MANY people these days do NOT BELIEVE what GOD'S WORD says either— it will costs them their ETERNAL SOULS!
Jesus says, "REMEMBER LOT'S WIFE. Whoever SEEKS to KEEP his LIFE will LOSE IT, and whoever LOSES HIS LIFE will PRESERVE IT."

Hoy en pleno siglo XXI seguimos teniendo el mismo problema amenos que Jesús nos justifique. Por muy buenas personas que podamos ser, no hay justo que se salve, no somos mejores que los antiguos personajes bíblicos. Solo la gracia y la misericordia de Dios nos puede justificar a través de Jesucristo,él si es Justo, nosotros solamente estamos justificados por él por su sacrificio en la cruz.

Paul in his letter to the Romans says clearly "as it is written: there is no righteous, not even one; Romans 3:10,12 Today in the 21ST century we continue to have the same problem that Jesus justifies us. As good people as we can be, there is no fair to be saved, we are no better than the ancient biblical characters. Only the grace and mercy of God can justify us through Jesus Christ, if he is righteous, we are only justified by him for his sacrifice on the cross."
